MANILA, Philippines —Fire struck an industrial area in Valenzuela City on Good Friday, the Bureau of Fire Protection – National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) reported.
The BFP-NCR said that the fire hit the Flexo Manufacturing facility in Viente Reales.
The blaze reached the first alarm at 5:25 p.m. and was raised to second alarm at 5:37 p.m. and eventually escalated to the third alarm at 5:42 p.m.
The fourth and fifth alarms were raised at 6:45 p.m. and 7:21 p.m., respectively.
The BFP then raised the fire alarm to Task Force Alpha, where 24 fire trucks responded to the scene.
The conflagration was not declared under control or extinguished as of posting time.
The fire bureau reported no casualties, so far.
